Selections are now open for artists and performers who will participate in the Playing Memories project, dedicated to the creation of multidisciplinary artistic performances in various international cities. The Playing Memories project aims to enhance Italian cultural and artistic heritage through the reinterpretation and modernization of various Italian musical repertoires. The artistic residencies and performances will be documented by a television crew to create a two-season docuseries, consisting of a total of 24 episodes, distributed on a prestigious international streaming platform. It is possible to apply both as a lead artist (by responding to the Call for Artists) and as a performer (by responding to the Call for Performers). It is also possible to be selected in both categories.

Call for Artist
Selection of lead artists (dancers, musicians, visual artists, photographers, set designers, etc.) to lead creative teams in the international artistic residencies of the Playing Memories project. The lead artist will be responsible for conceiving the theme of the residency and will guide a group of 8-15 performers (dancers, musicians, visual artists, photographers, etc.) through a collaborative creative process. Together, they will create an original multidisciplinary performance that unites various artistic forms, from visual art to music, and from dance to set design.
Projects that explore the following are accepted:
- Music and works by Italian composers from all eras.
- Italian repertoires of folk and regional origins.
- Original compositions created by the artists and performers.
- Italian music and works from films, musicals, and musical theater.
- Italian jazz repertoires, both historical and contemporary, or original.
- Italian pop-rock repertoires, both historical and contemporary, or original.
